The quarter turns should appear effortless, and the presentation/posing round should be done without heavy tensing. Extreme tensing and posing is for the bodybuilding categories.

The judges assess Fit Model from the hair down
Symmetry, proportion and a pleasing overall look is required: Fit Models are judged on their presentation including skin condition and tone as well as facial features.  Good grooming is essential.
The judges are looking for a healthy look rather than extreme conditioning and muscularity.

This is not a “bodybuilder in shorts” category, it’s more a “aspiring model with muscle” category.

I Walk

The competitor should walk from off the side of the stage to the centre back of the stage and perform one pose and then walk directly to the centre of the stage in front of the judges and should do up to 7 of the compulsory poses with smooth transitions.

Attire

The shorts should be short, Lycra or short board shorts and they
can be of any colour to enhance the look of the physique.  Avoid big logos.
